I am trying to solve this problem:  If 1 tablespoon of salt = 14.74 g., and it takes 58 grams of salt dissolved per kilogram of water to raise the boiling point 1/2° C. How many Tablespoons  of salt do I need to raise the boiling point if I have 2.8308 kg. of water ? How do I solve this?

      First lets figure out how much salt you need, 58g/kg*2.8308kg=164.19g of NaCl. (each kg needs 58g of salt)

Now lets figure out how many tablespoons of salt you will need, each tablespoon is 14.74g and you need 164.19g so 14.74x=164.19 x= the number of tablespoons. So x=164.19/14.74=11.14 so you will need a little bit more than 11 tablespoons of salt. Hope this helps.
