find the average rate

Suppose that a cyclist began a 352 mi ride across a state at the western edge of the state, at the same time that a car traveling toward it leaves the eastern end of the state. If the bicycle and car met after 5.5
hr and the car traveled 35.2 mph faster than the bicycle, find the average rate of each.

r(5.5) + (r + 32.3)(5.5) = 352
5.5r + 5.5r + 178.75 = 352       distribute
11r + 178.75 = 352                  combine
11r = 173.25                            subtract 178.75 from both sides
r = 15.75                                 divide both sides by 11

How fast is the car?
