(1 / x) + [2/(x + 1)] + [3/(x + 2] = 0
 
 
The LCD is  x(x + 1)(x + 2).  Multiply both sides of the equation by this LCD to get rid of denominators.
 
(x + 1)(x + 2) + 2x(x + 2) + 3x(x + 1) = 0
 
 
Now you can solve the equation.
