simplist form without negative exponents

is this correct for my answer

(ax)^2    =     1/(ax)^2    =     1/a^2x^2

how do I simplfy this problem  assuming the solutio is undefined,

( a^2b^3)  ^2                            The parentheses goes around the denomator, c,
          c

I entered the problem wrong.  It should be to the power of 0, not 2.

a^2b^3)  ^0                   the parentheses goes around the whole problem.
      c

I would think since it is to the power of zero the answer is zero

A zero exponent arises from problems like this: 2^3/2^3 = 2^(3-3) = 2^0 = 1. So (x)^0 = 1 IF AND ONLY IF X ≠ 0; otherwise (x)^0 is UNDEFINED.

so is the answer zero because it is undefined?  This is so confusing, sorry.

If what's inside the parentheses is NOT 0, then the answer is 1.
If what's inside the parentheses IS 0, then the answer is UNDEFINED.
