PROBABILITY

An urn contains pink and green balls. Five balls are randomly drawn from the urn in succession, with replacement. That is, after each draw, the selected ball is returned to the urn. What is the probability that all balls drawn from the urn are pink

Philip P.

It depends on the sample space.  How many pink and green balls are in the urn?  For example, if there are 20 green and only one pink, then the odds of picking 5 successive pink balls (with replacement) is (1/21)5.  If there are 20 pink balls and only one green, then the odds of picking 5 successive pink balls (with replacement) is (20/21)5
