g(4)=-11(4)-12=-44-12=-56

f(g(4) =11(-56)³ -13(-56)² -44-12

 

        =11(-175616) -13(3136)-56

 

        =-1972,600

To answer this question, simply substitute 4 into g(x). Once you get an answer, substitute that answer into f(x) as x

 

So g(4) = -11(4)-12.The answer you get for g(4) will then be what you substitute in for f(x). 

 

The basic rule is inside function first, then outside... so you work your way from the inside out.
