you have written: 1) if C=140, b=100, B=18.6. Are you referring to a triangle ABC, and is m∠C=140o? (That is, capital letters give measures of angles in degrees)? I'm wondering if angle B measures 18.6o or in fact you meant that side b (lower case) has length 18.6 units.
Using the drawing described (AAS type givens), and the Law of Sines, I got sin 18.6 / 100 = sin 140 / c which led to c = 64.27876 / .3189593 so c is 201.5, to 2 DP. I'm leaving you to draw the situation in problem 2) and then you can solve.
I have similar wonderings about the numbers in 2)...e.g. does angle C's measurement equal 63o?
So I suggest that the measures and letters are clarified before I or anyone else attempts to work the problems.
