What is the perimeter of the polygon?

The coordinates of the vertices of a polygon are (-4, 2) , (2, 2) , (2,  - 1) , (- 2,  - 3) , and (- 5,  - 2). What is the perimeter of the polygon? Round each length to the nearest tenth of a unit. Enter answer as a decimal.

There are five vertices. It will help to plot them and thus visualize the shape of the polygon. Now that you see what its sides are, go through the process of calculating the length of each side, using the distance formula (if no easy shortcut comes to mind). The perimeter will be the sum of the five side lengths. A bit tedious, but quite doable.
