I can not get the correct answer for y

     3        -   6y      =7
   y-2           2-y

I tried adding (y-2) and (2-y) to both sides, but I got the answer y= 2 and I know that is wrong.

this problem does not come out the way I typed it.

This problem is actually in division form
y-2 ÷ 3 - 2-y ÷ 6y =7

The LCD of (y-2) and (2-y) is (-1)(y-2).    Note that both values divide into it evenly.
Also, please solve for a value of y (and a single one).
