Question

If I am having a party and want 100 balloons. It takes 4 minutes to blow up and tie ballons. If 5 people are blowing up ballons for the party, how long will it take to blow up and tie all of all of the ballons for the party?

"It takes 4 minutes to blow up and tie balloons." 

Does this mean it takes 4 minutes to blow up and tie ONE balloon? This is critical to solving the problem.

 

Calculate how many balloons would be assigned per person. Then, it's a matter of calculating how many minutes it would take for 1 person to blow up and tie their allotted balloons (since everyone is working simultaneously). I hope this helps!
