3x^2=x^2+9x+18

3x^2-x^2-9x-18=0

2x^2-9x-18=0

2*18=2*2*3*3=(2*2*3)*(3)=12*3 and 12-3=9

(2x+3)(x-6)=0

x-6=0

x=6 cm

check: 6+6=12, 6+3=9, 12*9=108 and 3*36=108
