First, you need to know what E-commerce is. E-commerce is the practice of performing business using indirect and remote approaches, rather than doing business at a point-of-purchase location.
This is possible because we have computers and phones available to communicate with people and other businesses from far away places. Therefore, you need to have computer skills such as sending emails, surfing the web to shop and sell online, and writing important documents in Microsoft Word and Excel. You can use Excel to sell statistical data to a client. When you order online, you use a payment card, such as credit or debit. Using the telephone, I believe that is self-explanatory.
Another skill is faxing, but not too much of that is being used, because we have the email. Some companies use Microsoft Outlook to send emails to multiple people.
