Kilograms to pounds problem with price.

Question

What is wrong with my math?

 

The cost of 10 KG of vanilla beans is $188 per KG

plus $210 shipping

 

Conversion kilo to pound is 1 KG = 2.2046

10 KG = 22 pounds

 

$188 * 10 KG = 1880

$1880 / 22 pounds = $53.52 per pound

 

Here is were it breaks

 

$53.52 * 22 = $1177.44  (This is wrong)  We paid $1880!  Where did I go wrong?

It looks like the error is in the line that says

 

$1880 / 22 pounds = $53.52 per pound

 

It should be

 

$1880 / 22 pounds = $85.45 per pound
