If it were square and 25 sq ft, then each side would be 5 ft.
If it were rectangular, 4 ft by 6 ft, it would be 24 square feet, and the length would indeed be 2 ft longer than the width of 4 ft.
So this is a quick way to achieve the answer WITHOUT HAVING TO WRITE & SOLVE A QUADRATIC EQUATION.
