Hi Dara,
For Percent questions, I recommend you memorize 1 formula:
Part = Percent X Whole
This can be used to find the Part, the Whole, or the Percent. Just make sure you set up your equation correctly, and remember that % means /100 (so 30% = .3).
Let's put this to work on your problem. We know the Part and the Percent; we need the Whole (I'll use T). So...
150 = 30% X T
150 = .3T
500 = T
