The purpose of a Venn diagram is to show where two sets overlap and where they are different. The parts of the sets that are the same would go in the center portion where the circles overlap, and the parts that are different would go in their individual circles. In this case, both sets are identical, so 1, 2, and 3 all go in the center overlapping part of the diagram. If you are drawing the diagram from scratch, you could overlap the circles completely as long as you still showed that there were two circles in the Venn diagram.
