before the transfer the silos contain the following amount of grain:
t = 17/18 + 2/9 + 1/6
1/3t amount in each silo after the transfer they each contain the same amount:
t = 17 + 2(2) + 1(3) to add these fraction we need a common denominator which is 18
--- ----- ----
18 9(2) 6(3)
t = (17 + 4 + 3)/18
t = 24/18
so each silo has
1/3(24/18) = 8/18 = 4/9
