A baseball diamond is in the shape of a square  the distance between each of the consecutive bases is 90 feet what is the distance from home plate to second base  I got 127,28 is that correct ?

                    145*b2=c2
                   145*4=580.  did I do this right

For the wheelchair ramp, horizontal leg must be 24 ft for a vertical leg (rise) of 2 ft.

 

Solve for hypotenuse length in this case.

 

For the ladder problem, you have (basically) a 3-4-5 triangle, multiplied by 3, giving hypotenuse 15, vertical distance 12, and horizontal leg 9 ft.
