Slope of a line is the following ratio:
(y2-y1) /( x2-x1)
In this case:
y2 = -19, y1=1
x2 = 13, x1 =-17
(be careful with the signs)
Therefore, slope = (-19-1)/(13-(-17)) = -20/30 = -2/3
The negative slope means the line makes a greater than 90 deg angle with the +ve x-axis.
