ln(k/0.006104)= .001236

Question

Have been solving this equation (arrhenius) and have gotten stuck at this point. How do I deal with the ln and solve for k₂?

 

The whole of the equation without the math I did would be ln (k₂/.006104) = 51.4/8.314 (1/293.95 - 1/313) 

 

I left out units for simplicity.

ln means log to base e

 

hence ln(k/0.006104) = 0.001236

 

taking antilog on both sides

 

k/(0.006104) = e^0.001236

 

k = 0.006104 * 1.00123 = 0.006112

 

NB: this is assuming the lower half of your question is correct and gave this top results.
