A sector is a fraction of the area of the entire circle. You can find out what fraction by saying that your sector is 30 out of 360 degrees....which is 1/12 of the area of the entire circle.
Since your circle has a radius of 15 and the area formula is A= Π*r2 , your circles area is 225Π and your sectors area is 1/12 of that.
