Three angles are adjacent each other and they form an angle of 140°.the largest angle is twice the smaller angle and the middle angle is 24° more than the smallest.Find the angles.

Let the smallest = x

Let the middle = x + 24

Let the largest = 2x

 

You have one large angle split into the 3 smaller adjacent angles.  The 3 angles form 140 degrees. 

 

x + (x + 24) + 2x = 140

 

 

Solve for x from this equation.  Then plug in x to get the actual angles.
