Hi James, if y is the total cost of the jerseys and x represent the number jerseys made, the equation would be:
y = 50 + (12 * x)
Simplified:
y = 50 + 12x
To find out the cost for 20 jerseys, substitute for x in the equation.
Once you know the total cost, to find out the cost for each team member, divide the total cost by the number of team members.
