x=150+y, x is twin, nora is y.

 

Together they both seat 1250. So x+y=1250.

 

Now you have two equations and you can substitute and solve.

 

x=150+y

x+y=1250

150+y+y=1250.

2y=1100

y=550

x=150+550

x=700

 

So we have twin cinema with 700 seats, nora cinema with 550.
