asked 01/10/17I need to know the height of a partial pyramid.
Partial pyramid meaning that it doesn't have a point at the top; it's flat on top.
The base of said pyramid is 40" x 36", and the top needs to be 14" x 6" (front and back being 40" at bottom and 14" at top). What is the height of said partial pyramid?

I think that you can determine all you need based on triangle similarities, once your terms are correctly defined.
Your given data (measurements) need to be correctly identified in terms of the frustrum.
Draw the figure (side view) as one giant pyramid, being chopped (parallel to its base) with the top part removed.
Don't let the frustrum frustrate you!
