.Algebra formula help plugs and sockets

The formula for the total cost,C, of 15 plugs and sockets is:
C = 15(P + S)
Where P is the ocst of a plug and S is the cost of a socket.
Find the total cost of 15 plugs and sockets if plugs cost 40p and sockets cost 260p.
 
 
Really stuck on this algebra, please help.
 
 
I'm reaaaaaaaaaaalllllyy bad at it. :(

Ummm. Sorry I don't understand what you mean. :( What do you mean by simplify, simplify what?

"Simplify" means to rewrite with as few symbols as possible.
This can be done by adding/subtracting, multiplying/dividing.
