ROLLES THEOREM

The function f(x)= x^2/3 takes on the same values at x= -1 and at x= 1. According to ROLLES THEOREM there should be a point C in the open interval (-1,1) where f1(c)=0 , I need help finding such point

Mark M.

You have misstated Rolle's Theorem. If f(x1) = f(x2) for some real valued differentiable function, then for some c in the open interval (x1, x2), f'(c) = 0.
(The first derivative is zero).
