There is more than one King Phillip in history who waged war against some group.  For example, King Phillip of Macedon conquered ancient Greece, King Phillip of France commanded an army in the third Crusade, and King Phillip II of Spain sent the "invincible Armada" against England during the days of Queen Elizabeth I.  I am sure there are other King Phillips in history.  To which one are you referring?
