Simplifying with Radicals

In Algebra 1 I am given the following problem and told to simplify:

 

-5 √12 (7√6 - 4√8)

 

Please help me.

Hint: after distribution, you get -35√72 as the first of two resulting terms.

 

you simplify square root of 72 by doing √2√36 which equals 6√2 ... taking advantage of factoring 72 so that one factor is the largest possible perfect square.
