y = 2x2 + 8x - 2
To graph a quadratic equation, you need to find:
- the location of the vertex and line of symmetry (Vertex = (-2, -10), LOS is x = -2)
- Whether the graph open up or down (this one opens upwards)
- The y-intercept (for this one it's (0, -2))
- the x-intercepts (there may be 0, 1, or 2 real intercepts) (x = -2±√6)
