A concert is attended by 2/3 girls and 1/3 boys. 2/5 of the girls have hats and 1/5 of the boys had hats. If there were 150 more girls wearing hats than boys , how many people attended the play?

(1/5)(1/3)=1/15 of the boys have hats

n=# of students at the play

(1/15)n+150=(4/15)n

150=(4/15)n-(1/15)n

150=(3/15)n

(15/3)(150)=(15/3)(3/15)n

750=n

n=750 people at the play
