Problem to a math question on Facebook for my friends.

Question

This man walks into a grocery store and steals $100 out of the register without the cashier knowing and left then 10 minutes later the man walked back in and bought $70.00 worth of food with the $100 bill and the cashier gave him $30.00 back in change. How much is the store out of????

As I stated in an answer to a previous post of this question, the man is out $100. Although he got the $100 bill back, he gave out $70 of merchandise and $30 in change.
