I'm struggling with this question if you can help me with this question I'll be very thankful: Ken bought 10 clothing items which consisted of a combination of shirts and shorts. Each shirt cost $10.50 while each pair of shorts cost $12. If he spent $109.50 in all, how many shirts did he buy?

10.50s + 12(10 - s) = 109.50
