physics incline questions

A 16kg box is accelerating down a 35° incline. There is kinetic friction acting on the box. Select the correct net equation for the y direction in this scenario.
Choose one answer.
a. Fn-mg=0
b. Fn-mgcos35=0
c. Fn-Fk=0
d. Fn-mgsin35=ma

which would be the correct answer? Any guidance would be appericated, thank you! :)

Thank you! I was confused because I thought typically Y went with Sin and X with Cos!

That is usually true.  But with an inclined plane, inclined θ above the horizontal, the axis perpendicular to the plane is tilted θ from the vertical.  This may be hard to visualize without a picture, but I am sure you physics book has a good picture.  Anyway, in this case, with y perpendicular to the inclined plane, cosθ is associated with y, and sinθ with x.

Actually, there is a definition for kinetic friction.  It is the type of friction between two surfaces that are in relative motion with respect to each other.
