need help finding the distance between points and the midpoint of a line segment which connects them

(2/3, 3/2) and (7/3, 2).

 

All you have to do to get the coordinates of the midpoint of this line segment is to find the average x and the average y.

 

So the average x is one half of 2/3 and 7/3, i.e. half of 9/3, which is 3/2

Do the average of those y coordinates of end points to finish this job.
