Let f(x) = -4x^2 - 5 = -4(x - 0)^2 - 5 ; which has it's vertex at (0,-5) and opens down.
The domain of f(x) is All Real Numbers because x can be All Real Numbers.
Then the domain of g(x) + f(x) will be the domain of g(x).
