Mastery of Limits, Derivatives, and Integration Techniques
f(x) = (4x - 4)(5x3 - x2 + 1)
The product rule states that you take derivative of the first factor multiplied by the second factor, add it to the first factor multiplied by the derivative of the second factor.
f'(x) = (4x - 4)'(5x3 - x2 + 1) + (4x - 4)(5x3 - x2 + 1)'
f'(x) = 4(5x3 - x2 + 1) + (4x - 4)(15x2 - 2x)
Now just simplify this derivative.
