Trig vertical shifts

I'm using an online school and the answers are very sensitive, so I'm unsure if I'm doing the problem wrong, or I'm entering something wrong.
Sine function
Amp.- sqrt (2)
Period- 8pI
Horiz. Shift- pi
Vert. Shift- 1
X=4pi needs to be plugged into the complete equation.
I really need some help. Thank you!

I set the formula up like that all the time. I know how to do each step, but it keeps telling me it's wrong.

When I did the formula the first time I got y= sqrt (2)sin (1/4x+1/8)-1....but I'm unsure about the horizontal shift

8π = 2π/b
b = 1/4

-π = -c / b
π = 4c
π/4 = c             this might be the correction needed.
