Literature or Civilisation

I am writing a research paper this year, and I cannot chose between Literature and Civilisation. Which is better and easier?

Both topics have their pros and cons. If you enjoy looking at things from a variety of genres then literature is a good topic to choose. You can connect the piece of literature you have chosen to write about to many factual aspects of life in the real world. You can use the author's experiences, your own life experiences, and the experiences of others to really analyze this piece of writing and create a great research paper.
