Your phrase "is it able" should be "is it possible" because the subject of your sentence was a matrix, and it takes a person to do this!

I am not sure from the wording of the question if you are asking how to find det(A) from knowing A^-1.  But it can be shown that

 

det(A^-1) = 1 / det(A)

 

Then det(A) = 1 / det(A^-1)
