How are the graphs of x>-4 and x>=-4 alike and how are they different?

For the graph of x > -4:

An open circle, O, is on the -4 to indicate -4 is not a solution.

For the graph of x ≥ -4:

A closed circle, •, is on teh -4 to indicate that -4 is a solution.

For both graphs a solid (squiggly?) line is drawn to the right (greater than).

The difference between the two functions is the equals sign.  Therefore, one includes that specific point while the other does not.
