For every X value, plug it in to the equation y=1-2x-x squared

 

when x=-3 ,   y=1-2(-3) -(-3)(-3)  

 

-2 times -3 = 6

 

-3 times itself =9

 

when x=-3, y=1+6-9 or  -2

when x=-2  y= 1-2(-2) -(-2)(-2) 

 

y=1+4-4 or 1
