Natasha is setting

 Natasha  is setting tiles along  the baseboard in her bathroom . One side of the bathroom is 18 3/4 feet .Each tile is 1 1/2 feet long.How many tiles does she need for this section ?

18 3/4 ÷ 1 1/2

75/4 ÷ 3/2            change to improper fraction

75/4 · 2/3              divide by fraction = multiply by inverse

25/2                      multiply and reduce

 

Natasha cannot tile the one edge with complete only whole tiles.
