Explain in words: Y=mX+b is the slope-intercept form where:
m=slope, b=Y-intercept (NOTE: Y-intercept occurs when X=0)
You gave an equation in this form: Y= 2/3X-4
Therefore, (m=2/3) & (Y-intercept=-4)
However - this line DOES NOT PASS THROUGH (-2,-5). You can see this is true by plugging in (X=-2) into the equation. When you do this, Y=(-4/3 -4) = -16/3 or -5 1/3 (ie Y does not equal -5).
