The problem statement does not say what √A/π is equal to, but this looks like the expression for the radius of a circle of area A.  Assuming that is the case then
 
√(A/π) = r
 
Square both sides and get
 
A/π = r2
 
Multiply both sides by π and get
 
A = πr2
