Struggling with statistics problems. They were assigned but not yet explained.

Question

Sketch a histogram showing the distribution of scores shown in the following table (This was assigned for my Statistics class, however, we skipped this portion in my Finite math class)

A histogram is a bar chart.  It has either horizontal or vertical bars that graphically show the frequency of observations for each category.  So, it is a frequency chart.

 

Here is the table with a histogram added:

I would advise that you consult your textbook, where it would be natural to expect to find an example of an histogram, a.k.a. bar chart.  It won't be long before you can master this.

 

Basically, you have the x values placed on the horizontal axis, and you make rectangles built up having heights (representing frequency f) 2, 3, 5, etc. above the distinct classes (20-24, 25-29), etc.
