Calculus will seem easy if you have the right tutor!
The median--because the explicit list of X values can be ordered, and you can find the middle one (or compute it as the average of the two 'middle' values, in cases where n is even.
The mode--specifically not frequently occurring datum (or data, if there's a 'tie').
The mean--exact 'average.'
None of these can always be found in grouped data, which blurs the exactness of a distribution.
