a train is early 1/6 of the time, on time 1/2 of the time and late 1/3 of the time. What are the probability of the train arriving late two times in a row? How can the probability be represented using 2 dices?

Karin's answer is correct.  However, there is another way.  As the probability of the train being late is 1/3, this could be represented by the roll of a 5 or 6.  Then, the probability of being late twice in a row would be represented by both dice being a 5 or 6.

There are 4 ways of rolling a 9 (3,6; 4,5; 5,4; 6,3); there are also 4 ways of having each roll be a 5 or 6 (5, 5; 5, 6; 6, 5; 6, 6)

The probability of being late 2 times is in row is (1/3)(1/3) or 1/9.

 Well the probability of each roll is as follows:

so since 1/9 is 4/36 you can set it equal to the probability of getting a 5 or a nine for example.
