I am currently working on equations of inequalities and graphing. Looking for an example of a linear inequality equation that cannot be graphed. Stumped?

I am being asked to provide an example of a linear equation with two variables that cannot be graphed? I've searched and searched my book, no luck.

An inequality that can not be graphed is one that has no solution.  Here is an

 

inequality that has no solutions:  absolute value of ( x + 3 ) < - 1

 

Absolute values are always positive numbers

 

Therefor this inequality: absolute value of ( x + 3 ) < -1 can not be graphed

Why are you looking for a linear inequality that cannot be graphed?  All of them can!

 

in your statement of the problem, you include the phrase linear inequality equation that cannot be graphed

but the consecutive words inequality & equation are mutually exclusive.
