Solving quadratic equation using quadratic formula

x+ x/5 - 2/3=0
A=1
B=1/5
C=-2/3

[-b -/+ √(b^2 - 4*a*c)] / 2*a
 
Plug in and solve.

You should know that an equation has an equal sign.  What you originally written down was an expression.  The differences must be understood.
